Way back in April we made reservations for this weekend to go camping up at Pt. Reyes. Now it's time to actually go! We'll go with a friend of Oliver's and her daughter who is 11.
We used to go to Pt. Reyes a lot when we lived in San Francisco - we didn't bother with reservations then, we would just get up early and drive there and hope we arrived early enough to get a campsite. But since we moved further south, we figured reservations were prudent.
Here is a picture of our living room with all our camp gear out and ready to get packed up.
Even though it is HOT here, we will still bring warm clothes and hats because it is often cold and foggy on the coast. Which will feel nice (at least to me).
