Northern Goshawk

Last week (and part of this week) I've been in all-day meetings. A-L-L D-A-Y. What a drag.... But, one day, this hawk came and landed on the balcony railing outside the conference room. It stayed for quite a while and wasn't at all bothered by us being on the other side of the sliding glass door. In fact, it seemed more bothered by a little hummingbird that kept dive-bombing it. After some internet searching, we decided it was most likely a Northern Goshawk. There are several open fields and a marsh nearby, so it must have relatively good hunting. My co-worker took this picture with his cell phone:

Good job researching which hawk it was. I thought it was a Robin. hahaha
