We've started swimming at a new pool: the
SMAC (pronounced as in "smack dab in the middle"). It's at San Mateo College. The pool is 50 meters long and 7 feet deep with no shallow end. And it's got a good filter system so the water is nice and clear (and less chlorine-y).
Today we didn't swim because the National Women's Water Polo team was practicing in preparation for their match against China on Thursday at Stanford:

The other nice thing about the
SMAC is there is a warm pool (80 degrees F.) just to the right of the cold deep pool. It's really nice to warm up there after swimming.
