Berlin

We are back home from our long winter visit to Berlin. It was great to spend time with family and friends. I was very pleased to have so much snow, even though it delayed our getting home by 3 days. I find the low winter light, bare trees, and snow a beautiful combination.

Here are some photos from our trip.

Snow on the fields at Spandau, at the edge of Berlin. A cross country skier is in the distance.

And, Lisa this one is for you, the inside of the butcher shop. Behold the goodness. (the ladies are wearing hats because it is New Year’s Eve)
